Yahoo has just eliminated about 600 jobs, or roughly 4 percent of its workforce, and cuts are happening within a number of content groups. That may include music, though details could not be confirmed at this early stage.
A focal point of the cuts is Sunnyvale, and various product groups are getting realigned. That includes sectors like sports, news, email, finance, and potentially entertainment.
Pink slips started circulating on Tuesday. More as dust settles.
